For a long time, skincare was a compromise for us: either the skin felt good for a short while, or it would soon report back with dryness, tightness, and irritation. As a former cabin manager for a major German airline, I know these exact moments – after long flights in extremely dry air, when the skin just wants peace. This is precisely how the source lab. came into being: from the desire for a clear routine that you gladly reach for every day because it doesn't overwhelm but reliably supports.

At its core is a deliberately reduced mineral base, inspired by very ancient deep water from the Nienburg region. The focus is on four essential minerals: sodium, calcium, magnesium, and strontium. They form the basis of our formulations and stand for what defines our skincare: less burden, more balance.

This mineral base is complemented by selected skincare components such as glycerin, shea butter, squalane, and ceramides. This ensures that the skin doesn't feel overloaded, but rather nourished, balanced, and stable.

Our skincare doesn't aim to convince with loud promises, but with a clear idea: a strong, reduced base that reliably supports the skin in everyday life.

We develop products for people whose skin is prone to dryness, tightness, and redness, and who are looking for a reduced, fragrance-free routine. That's why we consistently avoid unnecessary additives.
