Deodorant or antiperspirant?
Sweat itself is not automatically body odor. Odor-active compounds are formed, among other things, when microorganisms convert components of skin secretions. A deodorant primarily targets odor control. An antiperspirant additionally reduces sweat production, traditionally with aluminum salts.
Therefore, "aluminum-free" does not automatically mean better – but initially a different mode of action.
